Lesbians and bi gals do you practice safe sex with new partners?

Do you use dental dams, gloves, wash your toys and put condoms over them when you have sex with a new partner and get tested regularly?

I really hate dams for giving and receiving. Even the flavored ones since I enjoy the taste of you know what and it seems to repress all the good feelings for me. And I don't really care for gloves. But my toys are clean and always covered. I get tested every 3 months, it's a habit I developed from my hetero days.

What say you, if you aren't shy about sharing personal details?

I don't particularly like dams either, but I use them none the less. Gloves can be a bit of a bother, but I don't want any diseases. And yes, the toys are always clean and covered. I get tested as well. No need to die for being silly.
Reply:I used to, when I was single...every time too.

But since my partner and I have been together and completely monogamous for over ten years...we don't feel the "need" as much....but hey, sometimes it can actually be fun!
Reply:Wow. I never stopped to think of how complicated having sex has become - married 20 years. Apologies for butting in where I'm not wanted, but I learned something here.
